Our Repair Process

Technician diagnosing indoor AC coils
  1. Diagnose. We test airflow, thermostat, compressor, electrical components, and refrigerant levels with professional instruments to find the actual cause, not just the symptom.
  2. Explain. You see what's wrong and what it costs before we start. No work happens without your approval.
  3. Repair. Most common repairs are completed the same visit from our stocked trucks.
  4. Verify. We test the full system after the repair and confirm your home is cooling properly before we leave.

Good To Know

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you charge for the diagnostic?

The diagnostic is free with any AC service or repair we perform.

My AC is blowing warm air. What could it be?

The most common causes are low refrigerant (often from a leak), a failed capacitor, a dirty condenser coil, or a thermostat problem. Our diagnostic pinpoints the cause before we recommend anything.

Is it worth repairing my old AC, or should I replace it?

As a rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than half the price of a new system, or your unit is over 12 to 15 years old and breaking down repeatedly, replacement usually makes more financial sense. We will give you an honest assessment either way, and installation quotes are free. Read our honest guide to repair vs. replace.

Why is there ice on my AC lines?

Ice usually means restricted airflow (dirty filter or coil) or low refrigerant. Turn the system off to let it thaw and call us: running a frozen system can damage the compressor.

Can I just add refrigerant myself?

We don't recommend it. Refrigerant handling requires EPA certification, and low refrigerant almost always means there's a leak that needs fixing first. Topping off without repairing the leak is money thrown away.

Do you offer any repair discounts?

Yes. Book through the TopTec app and current offers include $25 off your first service. Check our homepage for this month's offers.
